  • Mr. Cornish received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Phillips University in 1987.
  • Graduate studies in music at Southern Methodist University.
  • National Music Teachers Association member.
  • Texas Music Teachers Association member.
  • Mesquite Area Music Teachers Association member - World of Music chairman.
  • Former United States Marine Corps musician.
  • Former classroom school teacher.
  • He is an active performer, including his position as the choir accompanist at Dallas First Assembly of God, held from 1992 to 2008. Then organist and choir master at Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan until 2010. Currently the music director at Grace Episcopal Church
  • Private music instructor since 1981.
  • Named Junior Bible Quiz Coach of the Year for 2006 by the North Texas District.
  • Husband and father of three including James William born September 2008!
